I am a proud Veteran of the United States as I served 4.5 years in the United States Marine Corps and 3 years for the Wyoming National Guard. Outside of my military background I dedicated the first part of my career to the Green River Police Department, where I committed 18.5 years to serving and protecting our community as a law enforcement officer. Throughout my career, I remained steadfast to continuing my education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Public Administration from Liberty University.

Over the last 48 years, I have been blessed to build a life in the community I proudly call home. I am fortunate to be married to my wonderful wife, Amy, and am incredibly proud to be the father of our four daughters: Emma, Karlee, Avree, and Ryann.

As a lifelong Green River resident and former city employee, I understand the opportunities and challenges our community faces. I recognize the impact of fluctuating tax revenues, the importance of responsible budgeting and long-term planning, and the high expectations residents have for the services that make Green River such a great place to live.

While public safety remains a top priority, our city provides so much more. We are fortunate to have outstanding Parks and Recreation and Public Works departments that help enhance our quality of life through youth programs, recreational opportunities, well-maintained parks and facilities, and the upkeep of our streets and infrastructure. These services play a vital role in keeping Green River a vibrant and welcoming community.

As Mayor, I will work closely with the City Council, City Administrator, city staff, and residents to ensure these services continue to be delivered in a fiscally responsible, transparent, and efficient manner. I will support local businesses, advocate for economic development, and pursue opportunities that encourage preserving the values that make Green River special.

Most importantly, I will work to promote Green River as a place where families thrive, businesses succeed, and visitors experience all that our community has to offer. Together, we can build on our strengths and ensure Green River remains a place we are proud to call home.
